Question for Audi A3 owners only please…?

I would like to buy an a3 after I turn 25 in another few months (Jersey insurance is high) and after reading reviews about it, it seems that it hasn’t impressed many auto testers. I’d appreciate some opinions from owners or leasers, is it worth it? This is a car I’ve wanted so bad for so long! But of course this is the real world so I have to be practical too. I’m especially interested in hearing about the reliability from long term owners…thanks I appreciate any help.

    For the price, you are better off getting a top of the line VW GTI model. The A3 is not much different, but comes with the premium price of having those 4 circles on the grill and trunk.

    Automobile Magazine has just named the VW GTI car of the year. It also won this award 3 years ago.

    Car and Driver Magazine picks their top 10 cars of the year in no specific order, and the GTI was once again on the list.

    it was also a runner up for COTY award in Motor Trend Magazine.
